Joint account holder
A joint account holder is a person that shares an account with another person, and where both persons are liable to the bank for money borrowed. Unlike the authorized user, the joint account holders are liable to the bank, not only to the other account owner.
If you are a joint account holder, you should always be careful to agree between you and the other joint card holders how much you are allowed to spend with the credit card. If you for example spend all the money on the credit card up the the credit limit, and you do not have the money to repay the bank, the bank can choose to charge the other joint account holder for the amount.
